Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate calculation of wages, tax withholdings, and company deductions.
  • Keep precise records and reports of payroll transactions.
  • Address and resolve any payroll discrepancies promptly.
  • Stay up-to-date and comply with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws.
  • Work closely with the HR department to manage payroll-related changes.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements and reports related to payroll.
  • Help employees resolve payroll-related issues.
  • Engage in payroll audits and recommend corrective actions.
  • Keep up with new legislation and regulations affecting payroll.
  • Assist with various projects and additional duties as required by the Finance Department.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
