Keep precise records and reports of payroll transactions. Address and resolve any payroll discrepancies promptly. Stay up-to-date and comply with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws. Work closely with the HR department to manage payroll-related changes. Assist in preparing financial statements and reports related to payroll. Help employees resolve payroll-related issues. Engage in payroll audits and recommend corrective actions. Keep up with new legislation and regulations affecting payroll. Assist with various projects and additional duties as required by the Finance Department. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and excellent organizational and time-management skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
