Position Summary The Commercial Bank Relationship Manager (RM) is responsible for developing and managing relationships with commercial clients, including small, medium, and large businesses. The RM serves as the primary point of contact for clients, providing tailored financial solutions that meet their lending, deposit, treasury, and cash management needs. This role combines business development, credit analysis, and portfolio management to ensure client satisfaction and profitability for the bank. Openings available for : Batangas, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga Key Responsibilities Client Relationship Management Serve as the main contact for a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring exceptional service and proactive financial guidance. Understand each client’s business model, industry dynamics, and strategic goals to provide appropriate banking solutions. Conduct regular relationship reviews to assess client needs, satisfaction, and potential cross-selling opportunities. Business Development Identify, source, and onboard new commercial clients through networking, referrals, and targeted business development initiatives. Develop and execute strategic plans to grow the commercial banking portfolio in line with bank goals. Collaborate with internal teams (credit, treasury, trade finance, etc.) to structure and deliver comprehensive client solutions. Credit & Risk Management Prepare credit proposals, financial analyses, and risk assessments for new and existing clients. Monitor loan performance and ensure compliance with bank credit policies and regulatory requirements. Work closely with the credit department to structure appropriate lending facilities and manage portfolio risk. Cross-functional Collaboration Partner with product specialists (e.g., cash management, FX, trade finance) to deliver holistic client offerings. Coordinate with operations and service teams to ensure smooth implementation of banking products and services. Market & Industry Insight Stay informed about industry trends, economic developments, and competitive positioning. Provide feedback to management on market opportunities, client needs, and product improvements. Qualifications Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred). At least 1 year of experience in commercial or corporate banking, relationship management, or credit analysis. Proven track record in managing a profitable client portfolio and achieving business development goals. Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of commercial lending, credit structuring, and financial analysis. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to build trust-based relationships with clients and internal partners. Strong business acumen and understanding of various industries. Proficient in banking software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Portfolio growth (loan and deposit volume). Client retention and satisfaction scores.
