Job Overview We’re looking for a Senior Manager, People & Operations who’s ready to roll up their sleeves and build things from the ground up. This is a solo operator role with no direct reports but a ton of ownership. You’ll lead our HR and people programs end to end, while also jumping in to support key operations work that keeps the company running smoothly. If you love switching gears between strategy and execution and want to make a real impact in a fast-moving environment, this role is for you. What You’ll Do Own the entire People function, from strategy to execution. Oversee the complete hiring process including sourcing, initial screening and coordinating interviews. Set up and improve HR systems, policies, and processes that scale with the company. Lead initiatives around hiring, onboarding, engagement, performance, and offboarding. Run HR ops hands-on. You’ll actually build and execute programs, not just delegate. Advise leaders on people strategies, performance management, and culture building. Drive compliance with labor laws across multiple jurisdictions and proactively handle people-related risks. Partner with vendors, platforms, and partners to make sure things run smoothly. Jump in on general operations tasks such as admin work, vendor coordination, procurement, and workflows. Spot gaps quickly and fix them without unnecessary layers of approval. What We’re Looking For 8 to 10 years of HR experience, including at least 4 years in a senior or strategic role. Comfortable being a one-person team and wearing multiple hats. Solid understanding of HR strategy, compliance, and labor laws. Strong execution skills. You know how to build processes, not just talk about them. Excellent communicator who can work directly with leadership. Startup mindset: scrappy, resourceful, fast, and flexible.
