As they expand their operations in the Philippines, they seek an experienced BD Head to lead their efforts and ensure their continued success in this vital market. The Head of BD will be responsible for managing and growing the company's operations in the Philippines. This role demands a strategic leader with a deep understanding of the renewable energy sector, and the ability to drive business growth in a competitive market. The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing the company's presence, developing strategic partnerships, and achieving business goals in the region. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement the country strategy in alignment with the company's global vision and objectives. Identify market opportunities and create actionable plans to achieve growth and profitability targets. Drive business development initiatives to secure new energy projects and partnerships. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and clients. Oversee the negotiation and closure of major deals and contracts. Oversee all operational activities in the Philippines, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Manage project development, financing, construction, and operation of energy projects. Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards. Manage the country's P&L, budgeting, and financial reporting. Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to the global headquarters. Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance the company's brand recognition and market presence. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and forums to promote our capabilities and successes. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 15 years of experience in the energy sector, with a strong focus on renewables. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale energy and power projects and driving business growth. Strong strategic thinking and business development skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities. In-depth knowledge of the Philippines renewable energy market, regulatory environment, and industry trends. Entrepreneurial mindset with a results‑oriented approach. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate a team. Adaptability, flexibility, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.
