This role reports directly to the HR Head and is responsible for supervising day-to-day HR operations and supporting the development and implementation of strategic HR initiatives. The position serves as a link between HR strategy and operational execution, ensuring HR functions run efficiently and in alignment with the companys objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition and Management: supervise end-to-end recruitment lifecycle from sourcing to onboarding, ensure a positive candidate experience and adherence to timelines; develop and implement sourcing strategies; analyze recruitment metrics; oversee onboarding to integrate new hires into the company culture.
  • Employee and Labor Relations: act as primary contact for employee concerns, conduct initial investigations, recommend fair resolutions in compliance with policy and labor law; foster a positive work environment; assist in administering the Code of Conduct; monitor employee morale and engagement.
  • HR Operations and Compliance: supervise HR staff; maintain data integrity in the HRIS; ensure compliance with Philippine Labor Code and related regulations; oversee timekeeping and attendance; develop HR reports to support data-driven decisions.
  • Compensation and Benefits Administration: supervise benefits programs (e.g., HMO, group life insurance); liaise with providers to resolve claims; assist in annual salary and benefits reviews with market data analyses.
  • Performance Management and Development: supervise annual performance appraisal cycle; collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and coordinate development programs; support succession planning by identifying high-potential employees.
  • Team Leadership: supervise, coach, and mentor the HR staff; set performance goals and conduct regular reviews; foster a collaborative, high-performing HR team culture.
Qualifications & Competencies
  • Office-based role in a professional work environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Behavioral Science, Human Resource Management, Management/Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or senior HR Generalist capacity.
  • Experience across multiple HR functions (recruitment, employee relations) is essential.
  • Strong working knowledge of Philippine Labor Law.
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms (e.g., Sprout) and productivity tools (MS Office or Google Workspace).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated presentation and facilitation skills.
  • High ethical standards and confidentiality; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and develop a team; experience in managing sensitive employee situations; ownership of HR processes and outcomes.
