Business Development Manager - Major Projects Full-time position based in Metro Manila with nationwide project travel. Reports to Vice President of Sales. The Role This senior business development role focuses exclusively on large-scale, high-value projects. You will identify, pursue, and secure contracts for Hauraton drainage systems in landmark projects such as airports, seaports, logistics hubs, warehouses, stadiums, and other PPP initiatives. Success is measured by your ability to influence specifications and win business at the highest level. Key Responsibilities Strategic Business Development: Proactively identify and target upcoming mega-projects at the earliest possible stage, develop and execute account‑specific strategies to position Hauraton as the preferred solution. Executive Relationship Management: Build and nurture long‑term relationships with key decision‑makers, including project owners, main contractors, top‑tier engineering consultants, and architects. Technical Consultation & Value Engineering: Conduct expert‑level presentations and sessions to demonstrate the technical and economic value of Hauraton systems for demanding applications, often influencing project specifications. Lead Complex Tender Processes: Manage the entire bid lifecycle—from initial inquiry and technical submission to commercial quotation, negotiation, and contract closure for high‑stakes tenders. Pipeline & Forecast Management: Maintain an accurate and dynamic pipeline of major projects, providing regular strategic updates and forecasts to the VP of Sales. Market Intelligence: Act as the market expert, providing insights on upcoming projects, competitor activity, and market trends. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is an advantage. A valid PRC Civil Engineer license is highly preferred. Minimum of 5‑7 years of proven experience in business development, key account management, or project‑based sales within the construction/infrastructure sector. Demonstrable track record of successfully securing contracts for high‑value products/systems in large‑scale infrastructure projects. Established network within top engineering firms, major contractors, and government bodies involved in infrastructure development. Expert understanding of tender documents, technical drawings, and project specifications. Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
