Request and compare transport quotes from a panel of preferred suppliers. Provide timely and accurate responses to customer and supplier enquiries regarding the status of a quote or order. Keep accurate records of correspondence with customers and carriers regarding transport orders in Manheim’s transport management system – TMS. General Administration Create transport quote and order requests in TMS. Review transport requests for completeness and accuracy (e.g., location, distance, estimated cost). Where necessary, gather missing information from relevant stakeholders, including customers and suppliers. Ensure prices and mark-ups applied to quotes and orders are in line with customer and carrier agreements. Logistics Schedule and coordinate asset movements to/from Manheim sites, customer locations, and storage facilities (local and interstate). Negotiate competitive rates and delivery timelines with suppliers to ensure KPIs are met. Stakeholder Engagement Collaborate with internal teams (PCV, Salvage, Industrial) and external suppliers to ensure transport operations run smoothly. Key Relationships Essential Experience in a similar administrative or transport coordination role. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel. Customer service awareness and professionalism. Friendly and courteous disposition. High degree of typing proficiency.
