Job title: Business Analytics Manager. Location: Manila-based with U.S. FP&A collaboration. This role leads a Data Team Manager, Financial Operations to support our U.S. Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, deep understanding of financial data, and a passion for enabling strategic decision-making through data. The role includes hiring, training, and developing a team to meet data and reporting goals for the Financial Operations team in Manila, with strong experience managing teams for US-based companies.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of data analysts to support FP&A reporting and analytics needs.
  • Collaborate with U.S.-based finance leaders to understand business requirements and translate them into actionable data solutions.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and data pipelines using Power BI, Alteryx, and other tools.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting outputs.
  • Drive automation and process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and scalability.
  • Manage workload prioritization, project timelines, and stakeholder communication.
  • Develop and execute training and development programs to grow the team’s technical and business acumen.
  • Hire and staff a strong financial operations data analytics team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience in data analytics, with at least 5 years in a leadership or managerial role with strong ability to create and train teams.
  • Strong proficiency in Power BI and Alteryx; experience with SQL, Excel, and other BI tools is a plus.
  • Solid understanding of financial concepts, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated experience managing staff, including hiring and training for a U.S.-based company.
  • Preference for candidates with SaaS or technology company experience.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality analytics solutions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel to the U.S. occasionally (5–10%) for team alignment and collaboration.
  • Flexibility to work overnight hours as needed to accommodate U.S. time zones, especially during onboarding and key project phases.
