Overview

The Senior IT Operations Manager oversees all operations of the IT team, including end-user IT services for global employees, the stable running of backend IT infrastructure, and organizational security. This role manages IT support, infrastructure, and security functions while leading complex projects, aligning IT operations with company objectives, and ensuring compliance with technical and security standards.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the IT team's daily operations, projects, and objectives, including creating and achieving department-level OKRs.
  • Provide strategic input and act as department lead when the head is unavailable.
  • Perform line management and HR duties as defined by company policy.
  • Manage and resolve IT support tickets and maintain accurate records.
  • Oversee end-user hardware, software, SaaS applications, printers, and meeting room equipment.
  • Set up IT access for new hires, update access for role changes, and process leavers.
  • Conduct IT, security, and compliance inductions for employees.
  • Manage unified communications, file storage, sharing, and collaboration tools.
  • Identify and mitigate risks affecting IT support services.
  • Manage servers, networking, email, hosting, and cloud/local infrastructure.
  • Oversee security systems, technical compliance, and database administration.
  • Monitor system performance and manage backups.
  • Ensure ongoing maintenance and support for all infrastructure and related hardware/software.

  • Clear and coherent communication and interpersonal skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
