What is the job?

The Senior IT Operations Manager oversees all operations of the IT team, including end-user IT services for global employees, the stable running of backend IT infrastructure, and organizational security.

Responsibilities:


• Leads IT operations and projects; sets and delivers department OKRs; acts as deputy head

• Performs line management/HR duties and delivers IT, security, and compliance inductions

• Manages service desk: resolves tickets, maintains records, and mitigates support risks

• Oversees endpoints and workplace tech (hardware, software, SaaS, printers, meeting rooms); manages comms/storage/collab tools

• Administers infrastructure (servers, networks, email, hosting, cloud/on-prem) and access lifecycle (onboarding, changes, offboarding)

• Ensures security, compliance, and DB admin; monitors performance, runs backups, and maintains systems

Qualifications:


• Minimum of five (5) years of IT support experience.

• Minimum of three (3) years in a managerial role.

• Delivers projects on time and to requirements

• Applies infrastructure, end-user support, and security expertise; implements enterprise systems and compliance

• Leads and motivates the team; delegates well, optimizes resources, and resolves blockers
