What you will do

The Senior Manager Operations will oversee and optimize logistics and supply chain operations with a focus on the semiconductor industry and related high-tech manufacturing sectors. The ideal candidate combines deep logistics expertise with a strong professional network within the semiconductor and logistics ecosystems. This leader is a proven driver of operational innovation, change management, and continuous improvement, ensuring high service quality and customer satisfaction across domestic and cross-border networks.

Essential Functions

  • Lead and manage daily operations including handling, dispatch, transport scheduling, network control, and fleet management to ensure seamless freight movement and service assurance.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contract sourcing to secure cost-effective, reliable freight and logistics services.
  • Oversee domestic special services such as weight & balance, lift operations, spot management, and hub control centre functions.
  • Ensure compliance with customs, export controls, dangerous goods regulations, and clearance administration for inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Drive continuous innovation and digital transformation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service excellence.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards for operational monitoring, reporting, and improvement.
  • Lead contingency planning, quality management, and risk mitigation strategies for resilient operations.
  • Build and nurture strategic relationships within the semiconductor and logistics industries to expand business networks and capabilities.
  • Coordinate vehicle and equipment maintenance programs and oversee return-to-work initiatives to support workforce well-being.
  • Champion customer satisfaction by meeting and exceeding operational and service level expectations.

You will be a great fit if you

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years relevant experience in logistics or supply chain operations, including at least two (5) years in a management or leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor industry logistics or related high-tech manufacturing supply chains is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in transport scheduling, vendor management, contract negotiation, and freight forwarding operations.
  • Solid understanding of customs clearance, export controls, and dangerous goods handling.
  • Proven track record of leading innovation, driving change management programs, and delivering continuous improvement.
  • Established professional network within the logistics and semiconductor industries.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in operational analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Power BI).
