Senior Technical Proposals Analyst at Netskope

Netskope is a leading cloud security company with offices worldwide. We are looking for a Senior Technical Proposals Analyst to support the sales team by crafting technical content for RFPs, RFIs, and related customer inquiries. This role involves working with sales engineers, product experts, and cross-functional teams to produce accurate, clear, and well-structured documentation.

• Have a deep, technical understanding of Netskope’s product offerings
• Collaborate with SMEs and sales engineers to write technical product documentation for sales proposals (RFI, RFP, etc.)
• Maintain a database of product content to ensure accuracy and clarity
• Translate complex technical concepts into customer-friendly content, reducing jargon
• Capture screenshots and navigate the Netskope product to enhance content
• Clean up existing content libraries to remove duplicates and outdated material
• Review large volumes of documentation (RFP, RFI, security assessments) to understand customer requirements and scope
• Collaborate cross-functionally with SMEs and executives to gather product details for customer inquiries
• Build and maintain a knowledge base of well-written answers that showcase Netskope’s offerings
• Improve documentation features and design by staying up-to-date with released features
• Ensure content delivered to customers is accurate, well-written, and aligned with Netskope’s brand messaging
• Copy editing and formatting of documentation using Microsoft and Google tools
• Continually review the proposal process and identify improvements
• Learn about the competitive landscape to highlight differentiators in responses

• 8+ years of experience writing highly technical documentation for software systems, operating systems, hardware, administrative tools, and processes
• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Marketing/Sales Engineer with a proven track record and ability to present technical information at executive or architect levels; working knowledge of networking, security, firewalls, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to work with subject matter experts and translate technical information into process diagrams and workflows
• Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills with the ability to organize content logically
• Hands-on research experience to obtain technical content and translate it into clear documentation
• Experience developing design graphics to depict visual documentation
• Strong teamwork, flexibility, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects
• Ability to meet multiple tight deadlines

• Knowledge of network security technologies (proxies, next-gen firewalls, SSL/IPSec, VPNs, SSO, DLP, encryption gateways)
• Experience with system installation, configuration, and administration

• Self-motivated
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to multitask and meet aggressive timelines; willingness to work outside normal hours when required
• Light travel may be required
• Proficient editing with Microsoft and Google suites

• B.S. in Information Systems, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other technical field preferred
