Senior Technical Proposals Analyst
Do you have a passion for technical concepts and want to be part of a growing sales team (without the typical requirements of sales travel and in-person customer meetings)? Do you have strong communication, organization, and writing skills? Then we want to talk to you

We are looking for an individual who will work hand-in-hand with our team of sales engineers to answer customer inquiries regarding our products and services. In order to do this, this individual must have a strong understanding of technical concepts, such as experience in networking, security, firewalls, etc.

This person will also have responsibilities researching and writing new content regarding our product capabilities, working closely with our team of superstar developers, testers, data scientists, designers, and product managers.

Additionally in terms of content management, you will be responsible for writing engaging, technical content supporting the RFP process and vendor risk management questionnaires for potential clients. You will work cross-functionally with Netskope's sales, product marketing, and product management teams to deliver professional and accurate communications.

Our ideal candidate is an excellent written communicator, is comfortable working in a very fast-paced/self-starter environment, is adept at understanding technical aspects of security solutions, and has a keen eye for detail. RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Senior Technical Proposals Analyst you are responsible for:

• Having a deep, technical understanding of Netskope's product offerings
• Working with SMEs and sales engineers to write technical product documentation for sales proposals (RFI, RFP, etc.)
• Maintaining a database of product content to ensure content is accurate and well written
• Taking complex technical ideas and writing content that is easy to comprehend by customers, reducing technical jargon, internal Netskope abbreviations, etc.
• Navigating the Netskope product to capture screenshots for content
• Performing clean up on existing content libraries to ensure duplicate responses, out of date content, etc. is removed
• Reviewing large amounts of documentation (RFP, RFI, Security assessments, etc.) in detail to understand customer requirements, desired scope, etc.
• Collaborating cross-departmentally with SMEs and Executive-level team members to collect details on our products and service and using that knowledge to answer customer inquiries.
• Continuing to build and maintain a knowledge base of answers that are well-written and showcase our product and service offerings.
• Enhance and maintain the features and design of our documentation by continually reviewing, keeping up-to-date on released features
• Ensuring that the content being delivered back to the customer is accurate, well-written, and aligned with Netskope's brand messaging.
• Having an understanding of Netskope's product and service offerings.
• Taking complex technical ideas and writing content that is easy to comprehend by customers, reducing technical jargon, internal Netskope abbreviations, etc.
• Copy editing and formatting of documentation using Microsoft and Google's product suites.
• Performing ongoing reviews of the proposal process to identify proposal process
• Learning about the competitive landscape so that responses can highlight competitive differences.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 8+ years of experience writing highly technical documentation for software systems, operating systems, hardware, administrative tools, and processes
• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Marketing/Sales Engineer with a proven track record and demonstrable skills in presenting technical information at the business executive level or at the architect levelWorking knowledge of technical concepts, such as experience in networking, security, firewalls, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to meet with subject matter experts and distill technical information to translate into process diagrams and workflows
• Excellent writing, proofreading and editing skills; and the ability to produce and organize content with a logical flow
• Demonstrated ability to do hands-on research and obtain necessary technical content from subject matter experts while translating it into clear, concise documentation
• Experience developing design graphics to depict visual documentation
• Proven teamwork skills and flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and assignments
• Demonstrated ability to meet multiple, tight deadlines

Preferred Experience

• Excellent knowledge and prior experience presenting network security technologies including but not limited to: Proxies, NG Firewalls, SSL/IPSec, VPNs, SSO, DLP and Encryption gateways
• Demonstrable experience with systems installation, configuration and administration

EDUCATION:

• BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or other technical field preferred.
