ABOUT THE ROLE

The Accounting and Finance Officer (Officer-Level) plays a vital role in ensuring the financial integrity and operational efficiency of Deus Enterprises Co. This role handles day-to-day accounting activities such as accounts receivable/payable, treasury management, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Reporting directly to the Finance Advisor and Managing Partner, this position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals seeking growth in a fast-paced and expanding organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accounts Receivable: Review and validate encodings; ensure accurate filing and compliance with company standards.
  • Accounts Payable: Verify expense reports and process vendor payments in a timely manner.
  • Treasury Management: Monitor investor and creditor cash flow; track loan maturities and payment schedules.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare budgets, periodic financial statements, and management reports.
  • General Accounting & Compliance: Maintain and reconcile financial records (ledgers, journals, vouchers, and bank statements), support payroll processing and tax documentation, assist in audits and statutory filings, and ensure timely identification and reporting of any irregular transactions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy (strongly recommended)
  • 2–3 years of solid experience as an Accounting Officer or in general accounting
  • Familiar with accounting tools (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, or similar systems)
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail) and Adobe PDF tools.
  • Good communication skills in English and Filipino
