As a Product & Packaging Development Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth product development lifecycle, managing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and analyzing financial data to ensure profitable partnerships. You will work closely with our Product Development team to source new suppliers, manage timelines, and meet deadlines. This role requires strong organizational skills and agility to work in a fast-paced environment..What will be your responsibilities?Supplier Management: Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new suppliers, including all direct communication, sample sourcing, pricing negotiation, and timeline management to ensure suppliers meet all required deadlines. Also, ensure all products meet & exceed Kitsch quality standards. Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analyses for new & ongoing products, including cost and margin analysis, using Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets to ensure profitable outcomes. Negotiate costs with suppliers to meet 70% margin requirements while maintaining required SRPs. Have a thorough understanding of key cost analysis inputs including shipping costs, duty costs and tariffs based on HTS codes for calculation and evaluation. Product Development Support: Work closely with the product development team, including Associate Director and Sr. Director, to understand product requirements and ensure that activities align with product development timelines and budgets Sourcing New Suppliers: Identify and source new suppliers to meet business needs, including researching and evaluating potential suppliers for new or existing projects Timeline Management: Manage timelines and meet deadlines to ensure timely delivery of all new products launched per season. Ability to manage many projects simultaneously for multiple seasons, each at varying stages of development. . Contract Negotiation: Ensure Production team conducts contract negotiations with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions Documentation & Tracking: Ensure all internal documents are up-to-date at all times for accuracy and efficiency. Internal & External Communication: Provide clear and timely communication with all internal stakeholders for updates, decisions, and deadlines. Packaging Development: Product development encompasses packaging, requiring collaboration with internal designers and external suppliers. This includes briefing internal designers on artwork timelines and briefing suppliers on dieline development, sample creation, and cost negotiation What are we looking for in you?Experience 2+ years of experience in Product Development Desirable: Experience in Beauty, Hair Goods or Hair Accessories Required Skills Product Development Knowledge: Understanding of Product Development processes and requirements Financial Analysis: Strong analytical skills, with experience in Financial Analysis and Data Analysis using Excel or Google Sheets Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines Supplier Development and Management with Software Tools (Asana or similar) English Soft Skills Strong Organization Skills High-level of Attention to Detail Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with Suppliers and Internal Stakeholders Proactiveness Critical Thinking About The OfferFull Time Remote Job Location: Philippines Compensation: $700 - $900 (Depending on your experience) A dynamic team An open mind for new ideas Growth… growth and some more growth Do you want to be part of our team?
