OverviewThe Corporate Finance General Accounting GES Lead Accountant will work closely with the Accounting Manager and is responsible for effectively and efficiently managing the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Team to meet set goals and objectives. The role includes assisting in optimizing internal controls, maintaining the accuracy of general ledger accounts and financial reports, and managing monthly, quarterly, and year-end closes.
Responsibilities- Manage the day-to-day operations of the Corporate Finance General Accounting team to meet goals and objectives.
- Provide strong assistance in optimizing internal controls within the company.
- Maintain accuracy of general ledger accounts and financial reports.
- Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Accounting or Finance required or equivalent in education and experience.
- CPA or MBA preferred.
- 2-3 years experience as a Senior Accountant with demonstrated ability to lead day-to-day accounting activities.
- Experience in providing direction and training to lower-level Accountants.
- Expert knowledge of Excel required.
- Experience range: 3+ to 5 years (from senior role to supervisory).
