Finance Corp General Accounting Senior General Accountant ADP Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines Overview The Corporate Finance General Accounting Senior Accountant ensures the accuracy and integrity of the Company's books of accounts. This role handles the monthly close process, analyzes accounts, prepares schedules/reports and reconciliations, and ensures compliance with GAAP and company policies. It includes balance sheet reviews, resolving issues, reviewing bank accounts, accruals, prepaid, fixed assets, intercompany activity, accounts payable and deferred income/expense, and interface activities for fixed assets, accounts receivable, billing and payroll. Resolves day-to-day general ledger issues and adheres to close deadlines per the Financial Closing Calendar and SLA. Responsibilities Manage monthly close process and ensure timeliness and accuracy of financial statements. Prepare and analyze schedules, reconciliations, and reports in accordance with GAAP and company policies. Perform balance sheet reviews; resolve outstanding issues; monitor bank accounts, accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, intercompany activity, accounts payable and deferred income/expenses. Handle interface activities for fixed assets, accounts receivable, billing and payroll; address day-to-day general ledger issues. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA a plus; 1-4 years general accounting experience or 2-3 years as an Accountant with proficiency in moderately complex accounting activities. In-depth knowledge of Excel; strong English communication; ability to work independently; effective time management; familiar with US currency. Knowledge of Oracle Financials a plus; good knowledge of GAAP; analytical with attention to detail; strong interpersonal and communication skills.
