Job Summary

Job Summary: The Senior Finance Assistant is responsible for supporting financial operations by preparing internal reports, reconciling accounts, assisting in subsidiary accounting, and contributing to process improvements. This role ensures accuracy in financial records, supports compliance with accounting standards, and collaborates with various teams to enhance financial efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Internal Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly internal reports for top management, ensuring data accuracy and timely submission.
  • Account Reconciliation: Conduct monthly reconciliations to verify transactions, identify discrepancies, and ensure corrections are implemented.
  • Subsidiary Accounting Support: Work closely with group accounting teams to maintain proper financial records and ensure consistency across all subsidiaries.
  • Process Improvement: Collaborate with the Group Accounting Head, VP of Finance, and CFO to enhance accounting processes and efficiency for both the parent company and subsidiaries.
  • Compliance and Audit Support: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and assist in audit preparations by maintaining proper documentation and records.
  • Other Responsibilities: Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned by management.
Education and Experience
  • Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is a plus but not required.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years in Accounting and Finance roles.
    • Proven ability to achieve accounting targets and generate timely reports.
Skills
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in accounting.
Languages

English and Filipino (Mandarin and Hokkien are a plus but not required).
