About the Role: Apex is growing its offshore centre (GSC) in Manila, Philippines to provide support services to the region. This is a senior leadership role to drive Apex Group's business and operations in the Manila market. Job Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management : Build and expand the Manila operations of Apex, supporting the business product, IT and operations in this capacity. Lead and motivate the teams on ground in co-operation with the business leads across locations in APAC. Business & Operations Support : Work with business heads across locations to understand their SLA requirements and determine what support is required locally to facilitate achievement. Compliance & Governance : Ensure alignment with Apex policies and local regulations, participate in governance committees, Boards, and regulator meetings. Crisis & Reporting : Crisis committee leader in BCP or DR scenario where crisis relates to local events. Representation & Growth : Act as Apex's ambassador in Manila, support new business sales pitches, and drive rollout of group initiatives. Proven Experience & Qualifications: +10 years' experience in the finance industry, part of it being in Asset Management or top tier IT consulting firms will be a strong plus. Proven experience managing offshore teams in a senior leadership role is strongly preferred, particularly within IT offshoring or fund administration. Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing would be a plus. Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business growth. Working knowledge of performance/operation metrics, IT/Business infrastructure. Skills Required: Strong people leadership & team player Ability to work well under pressure with strong attention to details Strong understanding and interest in financial markets Excellent communication skills both oral and written Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work independently Ability to prioritise tasks We are an equal opportunity employer.
