About the role

R-II Builders Inc. is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Operations Head to oversee the day-to-day operations of our construction projects in Diliman, Quezon City. As the Operations Head, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and successful delivery of our construction initiatives, aligning with the company's mission and objectives. This is a full-time position based in our Diliman, Quezon City office.

What you'll be doing

  1. Developing and implementing comprehensive operational plans to meet project goals and deadlines
  2. Overseeing the coordination of various construction teams and subcontractors to ensure seamless project execution
  3. Monitoring and optimising resource allocation, including equipment, materials, and labour, to maximise efficiency
  4. Identifying and mitigating potential risks, implementing appropriate contingency measures to minimise disruptions
  5. Collaborating with the project management team to resolve issues and make data-driven decisions
  6. Ensuring compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and quality assurance protocols
  7. Providing regular progress reports to senior management and external stakeholders
  8. Fostering a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 10 years of proven experience in construction operations management
  2. Demonstrable track record of successfully managing complex construction projects from inception to completion
  3. Strong technical understanding of construction processes, methods, and best practices
  4. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
  5. Proficient in interpreting and applying building codes, regulations, and safety standards
  6. Skilled in budget planning, resource allocation, and cost control management
  7. Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities
  8. Passion for driving operational excellence and a commitment to continuous improvement
