About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented U.S. Tax Accountant or Tax Manager with significant experience in preparing, reviewing, and managing tax filings for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in U.S. federal and state tax laws, communicates effectively with clients, and can lead or support a team in a dynamic, fast-paced accounting environment.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships (1040, 1065, 1120, 1120-S).
  • Ensure compliance with tax laws and provide proactive tax planning and advisory services.
  • Manage client relationships, conduct tax research, and identify strategies to minimize liabilities.
  • Mentor junior staff and oversee workflow efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
  • At least 3 years of US-based tax experience preparing 1040, 1065, 1120, and 1120-S.
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. tax code, GAAP, and relevant IRS regulations.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based accounting platforms (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Xero).
  • Experience with tax software (e.g., ProConnect, UltraTax, Drake, Lacerte, or similar).
  • Strong Excel and general technology skills.
  • Willing to work the night shift to accommodate collaboration with team members in the US (across different time zones).
  • Experience with high-net-worth clients, multi-state returns, or international tax issues is a plus.
  • Competitive monthly compensation in USD.
