Role Overview: Operational Excellence Manager (Procurement) This position is focused on driving innovation and efficiency within procurement operations through strategic deployment and management of technology solutions. The role ensures that procurement platforms are thoughtfully designed, smoothly implemented, and effectively leveraged to support operational excellence, data transparency, and strategic initiatives. Key Responsibilities Technology Deployment & Enablement Lead the rollout and enhancement of procurement systems, overseeing requirement definition, testing phases, and go-live activities. Partner with external providers to develop and deliver comprehensive training programs for users across the organization. Collaborate on the creation and upkeep of user guides and instructional materials. System Oversight & Optimization Administer procurement platforms including source-to-contract, e-procurement, and supplier management tools. Manage system configurations, updates, and issue resolution to maintain high performance. Monitor system health and identify opportunities for technical or functional improvements. Data Governance & Insights Safeguard the accuracy and consistency of procurement data across platforms. Produce analytical reports and dashboards to support performance tracking and strategic decision-making. Use data-driven insights to uncover areas for process refinement. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with BT and third-party partners to ensure seamless system integration. Serve as the primary contact for procurement technology vendors and internal stakeholders. Address user feedback and system-related needs with clarity and responsiveness. Vendor Engagement Support the assessment and selection of technology vendors aligned with procurement goals. Help monitor vendor performance and ensure adherence to agreed service levels. Process Innovation Identify and propose technology-driven enhancements to procurement workflows. Lead or contribute to initiatives aimed at aligning processes with industry best practices. Maintain documentation of procurement technology procedures and updates. Job Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. Minimum of five years’ experience in process improvement and technology implementation (within procurement or related functions). Familiarity with platforms such as Ivalua, SAP Ariba, SAP S/4HANA, Coupa, or GEP is a plus. Strong communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively across departments and with external partners. Skilled in cost analysis and evaluating procurement decisions based on quality, pricing, and timing. Capable of making sound, objective decisions under pressure.
