Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and experienced Team Leader to manage a team of medical billing professionals in a US healthcare call center setting. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, in-depth knowledge of RCM processes, and experience in handling voice and non-voice operations related to US medical billing. Key Responsibilities Supervise and lead a team of billing associates handling charge entry, payment posting, AR follow-up, and patient/provider calls. Monitor daily operations to ensure adherence to SLAs, quality standards, and compliance requirements. Conduct regular team huddles, performance reviews, and coaching sessions. Handle escalations from patients, providers, and internal teams with professionalism and accuracy. Collaborate with QA, training, and client services teams to improve process efficiency and service delivery. Ensure accurate documentation and timely reporting of team metrics and performance. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process optimization. Maintain compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory guidelines. Required Skills & Qualifications High school graduate and above; certifications in medical billing or healthcare administration advantageous. 3-5 years of experience in US medical billing, with at least 1–2 years in a team lead or supervisory role. Strong understanding of RCM processes including charge entry, payment posting, denial management, and AR follow-up. Experience in a call center environment handling inbound/outbound calls related to billing inquiries. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
