We are seeking an System Support Engineer to manage and support system infrastructure across customer environments. This role includes system monitoring, maintenance, troubleshooting, and participation in a rotational 24x7 support schedule to ensure service reliability and availability. Key Responsibilities Perform system patching, application deployment, and reporting. Proactively ensure high levels of system and infrastructure availability. Manage and monitor all installed systems and infrastructure. Work on after-office-hours escalations, either onsite or remotely, as required to ensure the resolution of critical system issues Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve system-related issues. Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, application software, and system management tools. Monitor daily backups and perform restoration activities to ensure data integrity and availability. Pick up and resolve technical support tickets. Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies. Maintain software and security updates on endpoints and servers to ensure compliance and protection against vulnerabilities. Participate in rotational 24x7 standby support duties. Perform rotational daily health checks on customer networks and servers. Monitor server performance and availability to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system functionality. Attend vendor-sponsored training to maintain updated product knowledge and technical skill development. Requirements: Knowledge of infrastructure best practices, operational processes, and system engineering methodologies. Vendor specific certificates such as Dell, HP, Huawei, etc., will be advantageous. Hands-on experience with Windows Server (AD, DNS, DHCP), Linux, VMware/Hyper-V, Veeam, and Azure Cloud. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply (Licensed ECE is an advantage). Minimum of 3 years of experience in a system integration environment and/or managing infrastructure systems. Knowledgeable in Windows, Linux, VMware, and storage infrastructure. Good project management and troubleshooting skills Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain technology from a customer perspective Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related courses. Basic network knowledge is required. Technical certifications in cloud and system technologies, such as CCNA, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, VCP (VMware), VMCE (Veeam), CEH, etc., will be advantageous Good knowledge of Cyber Security and IT Compliance. #J-18808-Ljbffr
