What the day will look like
- Providing day-to-day support to the Operations Manager to ensure the segments have the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures and systems in place.
- Managing issues and queries raised by the segments, ensuring that standard processes are adhered to and opportunities for improvement identified.
- Designing and maintaining standard operating procedures for each segment, building a deep understanding of handoff points between the segment and supporting functions.
- Building strong working relationships through regular engagement with segment leaders and internal partners.
- Trend analysis and periodic reporting of business and operational performance metrics.

The position reports directly to the Operations Manager of our Affinity segment and also supports Aon’s National and Housing Industry Australia Insurance Services (HIAIS) segments, playing a vital role in optimizing internal processes to drive greater efficiency. Also, this position is responsible for providing the support necessary to ensure these segments have the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and systems in place to operate efficiently and effectively.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Proven experience in operations or a similar role
- Curiosity in project management, process improvement, business or related fields
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills and exposure to data analysis
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
- Possess personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and dedication
- Understanding of general insurance or financial services is desirable
