What the day will look like

Providing day-to-day support to the Operations Manager to ensure the segments have the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures and systems in place.Managing issues and queries raised by the segments, ensuring that standard processes are adhered to and opportunities for improvement identified. Designing and maintaining standard operating procedures for each segment, building a deep understanding of handoff points between the segment and supporting functions.Building strong working relationships through regular engagement with segment leaders and internal partners.Trend analysis and periodic reporting of business and operational performance metrics.

The position reports directly to the Operations Manager and is primarily responsible for providing day-to-day operational support to the Affinity business. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, monitoring and following up on operational control measures, responding to straightforward internal colleague enquiries and requests, supporting bulk tasks such as mail-outs via Aon tools, and preparing straightforward reports.

Skills and experience that will lead to success

Proven experience in operations or a similar roleCuriosity in project management, process improvement, business or related fields Strong Microsoft Excel skills and exposure to data analysisStrong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills Possess personal qualities of integrity, credibility, and dedicationUnderstanding of general insurance or financial services is desirable
