Job Description (general):
As the Compensation & Benefits Specialist, you will be responsible for administering employees' rewards, payroll and benefits. You will manage payroll processing, tax compliance, and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and labor laws. You will maintain payroll accuracy, HRIS data, and address employee questions. This role may support service clients and work with HR and Finance teams.
Key Responsibilities- Drive the definition of fair, equitable, and competitive compensation and benefits packages aligned with company objectives.
- Conduct salary and labor market research to establish benchmarks.
- Coordinate with third-party providers (HMO, Life Insurance, Personal Accident Insurance, Payroll, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, etc.) for enrollment, changes, and issue resolution.
- Administer benefits, compensation, and reimbursement procedures.
- Assist HR Manager in administering comprehensive compensation programs.
- Communicate benefit programs, procedures, and changes to employees; provide strategic advice on compensation decisions.
- Manage payroll processing, record-keeping, and HRIS data maintenance; ensure timely, accurate payroll and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Collaborate with Finance and Accounting on procurement, vendor management, and payroll reconciliation.
- Support in other HR operations and participate in strategic projects as required.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in compensation and benefits administration.
- Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, payroll processing, and taxation regulations.
- Proficiency in HRIS and payroll software; excellent analytical and communication skills.
- High level of confidentiality and attention to detail; ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with employees at all levels.
