Responsibilities
  • Conduct environmental impact assessments and audits to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

  • Develop and implement Environmental Management and Monitoring Plans (EMMP) and other sustainability initiatives; promote sustainable resource management.

  • Support and implement environmental programs, provide training, and monitor program effectiveness for continuous improvement.

  • Maintain accurate records and monitoring reports to demonstrate compliance and transparency.
  • Stay updated on environmental regulations, technologies, and industry trends; liaise with LGUs/regulatory agencies as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Sanitary Engineering, Chemistry, Civil/Environmental/Industrial disciplines, or related field.
  • Experience requirements vary by posting, generally ranging from 5 to 10+ years in waste management, environmental compliance, or related areas.
  • Licensure/ accreditation where applicable (e.g., DENR/EMB Pollution Control Officer or related certifications).
  • Knowledge of Philippine environmental laws and regulations (e.g., RA 9003, RA 8749, RA 9275, RA 6969) and experience with SMR/CMR reports.
  • Experience in environmental monitoring, sampling, compliance audits, and coordination with regulatory agencies.
  • Familiarity with ISO or other environmental management systems; proficient in Microsoft Office and report writing.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to work in field and office settings; willingness to travel and work beyond standard hours when needed.
