Tyler Technologies, Payment Vertical, offers a comprehensive suite of payment processing solutions built and deployed exclusively for government. We are currently looking to hire a Software Engineer to directly support our electronic payments platform. This is an overnight shift position, 9PM – 6AM PHST. This is also a hybrid position which requires 2 working days on site in our office. The office address is Three/NEO Building, 18th Floor, 3rd Ave. Corner 30th St., Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila, Philippines 1634.

Responsibilities
  • Build out applications and infrastructure for the Tyler payments suite of products
  • Full Stack web application development using Microsoft ASP.NET and C#, Angular Typescript, HTML 5, CSS for UI
  • Provide programming expertise within an assigned business unit/area to troubleshoot, maintain, analyze, test, scope, estimate, and design business
  • Formulate and define application scope and objectives; devise and modify procedures to solve business problems.
  • Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written
  • Design, code, test, debug and document programs according to requirements
  • Participate in business and IT project estimation activities
  • Collaborate with business partners, and other technical staff to understand user requirements, identify technical approaches, and create solutions
  • Partners with user and management to maintain and continually improve the operations, maintenance, and documentation of the system
  • Performs development tasks to upgrade and maintain existing applications
  • Accurately estimates project development activities
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or math, or comparable work experience.
  • Experience with, or aptitude for .NET C# coding
  • Experience working with the .NET/Core/framework is highly desirable
  • Experience with REST API patterns and designs desirable
  • Demonstrated expertise with SQL databases and data modeling principles.
  • Excellent analytical abilities, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Nice to have
  • C# .NET Core/.NET 5+ a plus
  • Exposure to AWS cloud platform highly desirable
  • Exposure to Docker / Containerization highly desirable
  • Experience with Git (Bitbucket, GitHub, etc.)
