Job Summary:

The NOC (Network Operations Center) Support Engineer is responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining an organization's network and IT infrastructure. This role involves ensuring optimal network performance, minimizing downtime, and providing support for network-related issues.

Key Responsibilities:Network & Systems Monitoring:

  • Monitor network performance, servers, and IT infrastructure using monitoring tools.
  • Identify and respond to alerts, faults, and performance issues.
  • Perform proactive maintenance to prevent potential failures.

Incident Management & Troubleshooting:

  • Investigate and resolve network, server, and system issues efficiently.
  • Escalate critical issues to higher-level engineers when necessary.
  • Log incidents, document troubleshooting steps, and provide resolutions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and third-party vendors for issue resolution.

Support & Communication:

  • Provide L1/L2 support for network and IT-related issues.
  • Respond to customer and internal support requests via email, phone, or ticketing system.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of incidents and network changes.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Maintenance & Optimization:

  • Assist in software, firmware, and security patch updates.
  • Perform regular health checks on network devices, servers, and applications.
  • Suggest improvements to enhance system reliability and efficiency.

Security & Compliance:

  • Monitor and respond to security threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and industry standards.
  • Support backup and disaster recovery processes.

Required Qualifications & Skills:Technical Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS).
  • Experience with network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls (Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, etc.).
  • Familiarity with server operating systems (Windows, Linux).
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix, etc.).
  • Understanding of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for automation.

  • Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with a proactive approach to issue resolution.

Education & Certifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).

Work Schedule & Environment:

  • 24/7 shift-based rotation (including weekends and holidays).
  • Work from office/ Hybrid setup

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php25,000.00 per month
