Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Affiliate Marketing Specialist to join our growing ecommerce team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and expanding affiliate marketing programs for a leading FMCG Client, building strong relationships with affiliates, optimizing campaigns, and driving revenue growth through best practices and performance insights. The Affiliate Marketing Specialist will play a key role in increasing brand salience and sales via strategic affiliate marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Affiliate Program Management:
- Oversee and optimize affiliate marketing programs, including recruiting new affiliates, negotiating commission levels and other perks, and guiding their efforts.
- Develop and manage relationships with affiliates to drive mutually beneficial collaborations.
- Monitor affiliate performance, ensuring that affiliates meet agreed-upon sales targets and follow agreed-upon brand guidelines.
- Design and execute affiliate marketing campaigns that align with client goals, including sales targets, ROAS, and content benchmarks.
- Analyze performance data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for campaign improvement.
- Work closely with both client and agency teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and cross-channel alignment in campaigns.
Affiliate Recruitment:
- Proactively search for and recruit new affiliates that align with the company’s target audience and business goals.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of potential affiliates through outreach and relationship-building.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Monitor and report on affiliate performance metrics, including content views, clicks, engagement, conversions, revenue, and ROAS.
- Use data-driven insights to refine and improve affiliate strategies and tactics.
Payment & Compliance:
- Oversee affiliate payments, ensuring timely and accurate compensation based on agreed terms.
- Ensure compliance with affiliate program policies, legal standards, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with relevant client teams to develop assets and promotional materials for affiliates.
- Provide affiliates with promotional content, tracking links, and best practices to maximize performance.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in affiliate marketing and digital marketing.
- Experiment with new strategies and platforms to continually grow and enhance the affiliate program.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in affiliate marketing, digital marketing, or e-commerce (typically 2+ years).
- Strong understanding of affiliate networks, tracking software, and performance metrics across key platforms including but not limited to Shopee, Lazada and TikTok Shop
- Experience with affiliate recruitment and managing relationships with affiliates/influencers.
- Excellent analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel, etc.).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with performance marketing platforms and affiliate tracking software.
- Familiarity with Shopee, Lazada, TikTok and social media marketing.
- Knowledge of A/B testing and conversion optimization.
- Experience with email marketing and marketing automation tools.
