You will ensure timely and accurate reporting to internal and external parties to avoid penalties and sanctions, submits requirement of internal and external audits and addresses/closes audit observations and findings on a timely basis, implement changes (new and amended) in accounting standards, and attend to projects requiring subject matter expertise such as system migration.How You’ll ContributeDevelops and manages team members, their workload, and deliverables Supervises/reviews monthly financial statement close process of the subsidiaries/affiliate for monthly reporting to management Reviews regulatory report submitted to SEC (Annual Audited FS etc) and ensures compliance with the Philippine Financial Reporting Standards Review BSP Reports and ensure compliance with AMLA and CTR reporting for the subsidiary/affiliate Evaluates and implements new accounting standards by impact analysis, systems review and involving applicable units to communicate potential impact to financial position and performance of the Subsidiaries/Affiliate and to produce financial reports in accordance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards Review/ensure accuracy of disbursement vouchers and credit memos released by subsidiaries/affiliates and maintain updated and accurate books/schedules Delivers on special projects (e.g. new systems, new accounting standards, reconciliation processes, etc.) by reference to project objectives or work programs requiring subject matter expertise Other related tasks which may be assigned from time to time What We’re Looking ForBachelor's degree in Accountancy At least 7-10 years of experience in General Accounting, Audit, Taxation, and/or Banking and Finance With people management experience With experience in Financial reporting standards and regulations (SEC/BIR/SEC/PSE) With good to excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills About Security BankSecurity Bank is one of the Philippines’ best capitalized private domestic universal banks.
