About the Role

You'll manage and optimize enterprise-level file transfer systems — ensuring performance, security, and compliance across all data movement processes. This role blends technical execution with analytical thinking and requires a deep understanding of managed file transfer environments.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage end-to-end file transfer processes, from configuration to delivery.
  • Configure and maintain transfer protocols (FTP, SFTP, FTPS, NDM, HTTP/S).
  • Monitor system performance, reliability, and security in real-time.
  • Troubleshoot transfer issues and implement fixes to minimize downtime.
  • Apply data security and compliance standards across all transfers.
  • Maintain detailed documentation, process logs, and performance reports.
  • Continuously improve and optimize transfer workflows and automation.

Must-Have Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Proven experience in Managed File Transfer (MFT) or data integration.
  • Proficiency in FTP/SFTP/FTPS/NDM/HTTP/S protocols.
  • Hands-on experience with IBM Sterling, Connect:Direct, or similar MFT tools.
  • Knowledge of Attunity for data replication.
  • Familiarity with file encryption and secure transfer practices.
  • Working knowledge of Python, Shell, or Perl scripting.
  • Understanding of network protocols and security concepts.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.

Good-to-Have
  • Certifications such as CFTP (Certified File Transfer Professional).
  • Exposure to enterprise data governance and audit processes.
  • Experience with automation or system integration tools.
