Responsibilities
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Coordinating the preparation and submission of timely regulatory reports and assisting in compliance testing activities.
- Managing the delivery of compliance training programs to employees and relevant stakeholders.
- Providing legal counsel and guidance to management on business decisions, contracts, and operational matters.
- Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and vetting contracts, agreements, and other legal instruments.
- Formulating and reviewing corporate policies to align with legal requirements and governance standards.
- Representing the organization in judicial, quasi-judicial, and administrative proceedings when necessary.
- Maintaining and managing all legal documentation to ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and accessibility.
- Collaborating with the Compliance Manager to effectively communicate regulatory requirements across the organization.
- At least 5 years of combined experience in legal services, corporate law, and regulatory compliance, preferably in a corporate or regulated industry (e.g., healthcare, insurance, banking).
- Strong knowledge of Philippine laws, corporate governance standards, and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience in drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and corporate policies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities, with the capacity to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
- High level of integrity, discretion, and professional judgment.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications; familiarity with compliance management tools is an advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
