We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Virtual Assistant - DME Customer Service/Billing Representative to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential customer service and billing support for Durable Medical Equipment (DME), ensuring a smooth experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, providing accurate information about DME products and services, assisting with order placements, and addressing any issues that arise.
  2. Billing Support: Manage billing tasks by processing insurance claims, verifying insurance benefits, and ensuring timely and accurate billing for services rendered.
  3. Documentation Management: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service requests, and billing information in our databases.
  4. Coordination: Liaise with healthcare providers, patients, and insurance companies to ensure a seamless service experience and timely resolution of billing issues.
  5. Follow-Up: Conduct follow-up calls or emails to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve outstanding billing matters.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the DME or healthcare industry.
  • Strong understanding of billing procedures and insurance claims processing.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in using customer service software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
