Business Development Manager Location: Taipei, Taiwan, Taiwan, Province of China.

Kontron Asia Technology is looking for a Business Development Manager to help the company grow and succeed by identifying new opportunities, building relationships, and developing and implementing effective business strategies.

  • Identifying new business opportunities: Researching and analyzing the market to identify potential clients or customers, as well as identifying new products or services that the company could offer.
  • Developing and implementing business strategies: Based on the analysis of the market, a Business Development Manager will develop a plan of action to achieve business objectives. This includes creating and implementing strategies to increase sales and revenue.
  • Building relationships: Business Development Managers are responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers. This includes networking, meeting with potential partners, and attending industry events.
  • Negotiating contracts: A Business Development Manager will often negotiate contracts with customers, clients, and vendors. This involves ensuring that both parties are satisfied with the terms of the agreement.
  • Analyzing and reporting: Business Development Managers will analyze sales data and other relevant metrics to track progress and identify areas for improvement. As well as report to management on the success of business strategies and suggest new ideas.
Skills required
  • Ownership and drive (self-starter, proactiveness)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (dealing with complexity), ability to prioritize / multitasking.
  • Strong customer focus and assertive communicator / interaction / negotiation skills / strong team player.
  • Ability to cope with stress and resilience / time management skills / curiosity / openness / willingness to learn / fluent English skills / advanced Excel knowledge.
  • Currently residing in Taipei or surrounding areas with a valid work permit
