Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other federal agencies, all over the world.

The Site Engineer will be responsible for providing technical assistance in answering requests for information, administering the Construction Quality Management Program, and ensuring project site safety.

This is a 6-month project-based position that is based in Floridablanca, Pampanga, and based on market data, the salary range is Php30,000 to Php40,000 per month (depending on qualifications and experience).

Responsibilities
  • Provide supervision on assigned projects ensuring compliance with the approved design and standards.
  • Manage various construction projects and prepare cost estimates, quality assurance, and implement safety standards.
  • Guide workers, liaise with vendors, and check the quality of materials.
  • Provide technical advice and suggestions for improvement.
  • Validate quantity, condition, and approval of materials on site prior to Government issuing invoice payments.
  • Attend/witness selected tests and review all applicable test reports and results.
  • Keep the Government sponsor advised as to the status of projects under his/her administrative and technical control, but the responsibility to plan and carry out the assignment is accomplished independently.
  • Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Engineering Technology.
  • Must be a Licensed Engineer or Architect.
  • Handled road, large slab, pavement concrete projects.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager, Superintendent, QC Manager, Construction Manager, or Inspector.
  • At least two years of experience as a Superintendent.
  • Familiar with EM 385-1-1 requirements and experienced in hazard identification and safety compliance.
  • Excellent English in written and verbal communication skills.
  • With a valid driver’s license. Must be willing to travel to different project sites.
