QA/QC Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to oversee quality assurance and control for STONE WORKS in our construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client expectations by conducting inspections, implementing quality control measures, and addressing non-conformance issues.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and implement QA/QC procedures for stone materials, installation, and finishing.
• Conducts tests and inspections necessary to meet the construction quality standards outlined in the drawings and specifications for all contracted work.
• Oversees on-site quality-related procedures and ensures adherence to approved method statements and inspection plans.
• Collaborates with the consultant's representative to address quality issues, including resolving non-compliance reports.
• Manages the safekeeping of all QAQC project documents, including certificates, calibration records, test results, inspection requests, and non-compliance reports.
• Evaluates the quality and craftsmanship of on-site activities, leveraging comprehensive knowledge of construction phases.
• Performs internal quality audits on-site and participates in project coordination meetings.
• Coordinates document management with other departments and maintains organized records.
• Ensures the confidentiality of all QAQC files and records.
• Completes other assigned tasks as needed.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of QA/QC experience in construction projects, especially in stone works.
• Exhibits a strong personality, positive work attitude, and teamwork orientation.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to work at project sites with occasional reporting to the Makati office, including client visits and fieldwork.
• Proficient in various Microsoft Office applications.
