Overview
The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic business plans to drive FBL and MCL growth and expansion in the Philippines-Manila market.
- Identify new business opportunities, establish partnerships, and negotiate contracts to increase volume, revenue, and profits.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay informed about industry trends and customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (i.e. commercial platform, finance, legal, and operations) to align on business objectives and ensure successful execution.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- More than 5 years of experience in business development, preferably in the e-commerce and/or logistics (specifically warehouse and fulfillment) industries.
- Proven track record of successfully driving sustainable business growth and closing major deals in the Philippines market.
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, critical thinking, and problem solving skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
