We’re seeking a Human Resources Generalist to play a key role in shaping our people operations. This position is ideal for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys balancing compliance, payroll, talent acquisition, and employee engagement initiatives.

What You’ll Do

As the HR Generalist, you’ll be the go-to partner for day-to-day HR and payroll administration while supporting employees, managers, and leadership. Your responsibilities will include:

  • HRIS, Compliance & Policy : Manage HRIS/PEO processes, monitor regulatory changes, update policies/handbooks, and lead investigations when needed.
  • Payroll, Benefits & Leave : Oversee weekly payroll reviews, PTO/leave administration, benefits planning, workers’ comp audits, and 401(k) compliance.
  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding : Post jobs, source and interview candidates, manage structured hiring processes, negotiate offers, and coordinate onboarding.
  • Employee Experience & Development : Drive engagement through surveys, support performance management cycles, and administer training/learning platforms.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Partner with Operations and Finance to align headcount, payroll, and benefits costs, while managing external vendors.

What We’re Looking For
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–5+ years in an HR Generalist or similar role, with hands-on payroll, benefits, and employee relations experience
  • Payroll specialists are welcome to apply
  • Experience with PEOs (TriNet preferred)
  • Full-cycle recruiting experience
  • Multistate HR exposure (California and Texas strongly preferred)
  • Knowledge of FLSA, FMLA/CFRA/TX leave, ADA, EEO, wage & hour, and workers’ comp
  • Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus
