The IT Technical Support is responsible for providing technical assistance, troubleshooting, and support to ensure the smooth operation of the company’s computer systems, network, and other technology-related equipment. This role involves diagnosing hardware and software issues, installing and configuring systems, and ensuring optimal performance of IT resources. Key Responsibilities Provide first-level support for hardware, software, and network-related issues. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other peripherals. Troubleshoot system errors and provide timely solutions to minimize downtime. Assist in setting up user accounts, passwords, and access rights. Monitor system performance and ensure IT security and data protection measures are implemented. Coordinate with vendors or IT service providers for repairs, upgrades, or technical services. Maintain an updated inventory of IT assets and software licenses. Support staff with system usage, email setup, and connectivity concerns. Prepare and maintain documentation of IT procedures and issue logs. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience in IT support or a similar role. Strong knowledge of Windows OS, MS Office, and basic networking (LAN/WAN). Familiarity with hardware troubleshooting and software installation. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently. Personal Attributes Detail-oriented and resourceful.
