Overview
The Accounting Manager will lead and manage a team of 10 accounting analysts to ensure the following:
- Accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for senior management and external stakeholders.
- Seamless execution of day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bank reconciliation and general ledger activities.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to facilitate the annual audit and tax compliance process.
- Collaborate with other departments to support business initiatives and strategic decision-making.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
