Job Description

Country Manager - Philippines is responsible for overseeing and executing all aspects of the Company's events and business operations in the Philippines. This role works in close collaboration with the Malaysia headquarters to ensure seamless alignment with company standards while complying with local laws and regulations. The Country Manager will lead end-to-end event operations, business development, marketing, logistics, and financial management for the market.

Responsibilities
  • Event Management & Operations: Lead end-to-end event operations, from planning to post-event review. Secure venues aligned with strategy and budget, and ensure all local permits and regulations are met.
  • Business Development & Partnerships: Drive strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and venue negotiations to maximize event value and market reach.
  • Marketing & Public Relations: Execute localized marketing and PR campaigns in line with HQ branding. Manage media, influencers, and public engagement to boost awareness and impact.
  • Logistics & Warehouse Coordination: Oversee logistics, supply chain, and warehouse operations to ensure timely, cost-effective event support and inventory management.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Team Collaboration: Act as the main liaison between the Philippines team and Malaysia HQ. Lead cross-functional coordination and provide operational leadership to the local team.
  • Financial Management: Manage budgets, monitor P&L, identify cost efficiencies, and ensure timely financial reporting in compliance with local standards.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Events, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in events, operations, or business management, including 3+ years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale events and cross-functional teams
  • Strong understanding of the Philippine market; regional/international exposure is a plus
  • Leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience in marketing, PR, sponsorships, and partnerships
  • Familiar with logistics, supply chain, and warehouse operations
  • Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and P&L management
  • Fluent in English and Filipino; travel and flexible hours as required

Job Type: Full-time
