An intermediate role in Atlan Stormwater (AU) to support the Business Development Managers in delivering timely estimates for projects. The role will evaluate different scenarios and proactively seek to add value to the sales process.

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the tender preparation process and contract reviews for major projects is also a requirement.
  • Proactively work with Business Development Managers to build relationships with specifying engineers and consultancies
  • Develop value-engineered solutions for clients and projects
  • Create budget estimates for specific project requirements
  • Work with drafting to prepare engineering designs, quotations, and budget estimates
  • Provide engineering design input to the Business Development Manager and Production team members
  • Proactively maintain an up-to-date record of activities in the CRM system
  • Participate in Client Relationship Management activities as required
  • Provide estimation input into tenders, quotes, and contract reviews for major projects
  • Ensure accurate costing sheets are developed and the bill of material data is updated
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an estimating/tender role with a civil/hydraulic/construction company
  • Civil Engineering degree or equivalent experience
  • Civil, hydraulic, process, or environmental engineering qualification
  • Licensed Civil Engineer

  • Microsoft Office products – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • ERP reporting
  • CRM systems
