Overview
As an HR Admin, you will support the Regional HR Team and Global HR in implementing HR strategies, policies, and standards across hostels in the Philippines. You will be responsible for the efficient administration of HR services and operations, including recruitment, onboarding, training coordination, performance monitoring, compliance, record management, and employee engagement.
You will work closely with General Managers, the Regional Operations Manager, and the Regional HR Manager to ensure all HR-related processes are carried out effectively, in compliance with Philippine labor laws and Mad Monkey policies.
The HR Admin plays a vital role in maintaining accurate HR records and ensuring positive employee experiences while embodying Mad Monkey’s Vision, Mission, and Core Values.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAdministration
- Provide administrative support to the Regional HR Manager and hostel GMs.
- Prepare reports and presentations for internal communications (BambooHR/Google Workspace).
- Maintain schedules, calendar activities, and HR workflows.
- Support HR audits by ensuring records, processes, and systems are compliant.
Compensation & Benefits
- Track and maintain leave databases, attendance, and overtime records.
- Validate and consolidate payroll inputs including changes, transfers, absences, overtime, deductions, allowances, and holiday pay.
- Provide support in payroll preparation and processing in coordination with the Finance team.
- Monitor and administer timekeeping systems to ensure accurate and timely records.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory government-mandated benefits and reporting requirements (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, DOLE).
- Assist in the administration of employee benefits such as incentives, allowances, health benefits, and company-initiated rewards programs.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll and compensation data while ensuring accuracy and integrity of information.
- Coordinate with cross-functional departments to prepare paperwork and schedules for a smooth new-hire onboarding process and exceptional first-day experience.
- Provide orientations for new team members by sharing onboarding or induction plans and explaining company policies.
- Participates in developing and implementing employee training & development programs.
- Take part in managing the recruitment process, including posting job ads internally and externally, conducting interviews, checking references, and onboarding new hires.
- Assist in internship programs.
- Helps in identifying future staffing needs.
- Collaborates with Regional and Global HR to develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Helps Maintain records management systems.
- Helps maintain employee database containing employee information such as (but not limited to) job descriptions, work history, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions
- Ensures that all pertinent documentation is accurately recorded and securely stored.
- Keeps track of all incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Creation of New Employee Files (201 files).
- Take employees\' personal/confidential files and leave files.
- Participates in activities/events organization, community activities, etc
- Conducts exit interviews and recommends corrective action if necessary.
- Performs employee background checks.
- Assists in the implementation of HR initiatives and policies.
- Supports the Regional Human Resources Manager in efforts to create positive work environments
- Ensures that the extraction and encoding of employee-related information onto HRIS is accurately done.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 1 year of HR or administrative experience (hospitality experience preferred).
- Proven experience in a similar HR role or internship experience
- Knowledge of HR processes, practices, and employment laws
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Has experience using HRIS (BambooHR)
- Proficient with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Classroom, Google Drive, Google Chat)
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and ability to handle confidential data.
