Overview

Bookkeeper (with credit card management) role at RemoteVA. This remote position involves overseeing financial operations related to credit card transactions, including processing payments, tracking expenses, and reconciling statements to maintain accurate financial records.

Base pay range: $7,200.00/yr - $7,800.00/yr. Location: Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines. Night Shift (EST).

Responsibilities
  • Credit Card Management: monitor and record credit card transactions, reconcile statements, manage payment schedules to avoid late fees, and maintain credit health.
  • Bookkeeping Duties: maintain/update financial records (accounts payable/receivable), record daily transactions in accounting software (QuickBooks Online/Desktop, Xero or similar).
  • Expense Tracking: validate employee credit card usage, organize receipts, and analyze spending for cost-saving opportunities.
  • Financial Reporting and Compliance: generate reports on credit card expenses and transactions; ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Other Duties: assist with month-end and year-end closing; support audits with detailed transaction records and reconciliations.
Qualifications
  • Bookkeeping experience, preferably with credit card transaction management.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online/Desktop and Xero.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and reconciliation abilities.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
