Sales Executive partners with the Proactive sales team and handles property based functions to achieve business closure. Responsible for maximizing catering revenue through increased bookings across multiple segments. Handles customer inquiries within predefined parameters and communicates booking information to hotel service departments. Up-sells each business opportunity to maximize revenue for the property. Aligns customer profile with the appropriate product. Achieves personal and team related revenue goals. Ensures business is turned over properly and in a timely fashion for proper service delivery in accordance with brand standards.

Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearances are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests\' service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and support team to reach common goals. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats (e.g., small print); stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Sales Centre: Create market awareness with regards to the meeting and banqueting facilities; Implement brand standards in all sales processes; Shift market share from the competition with focus on group and wedding segments.
  • Safety and Security: Follow property procedures for emergencies; maintain a clean, safe environment; report unsafe conditions; report accidents immediately.
  • Policies and Procedures: Protect privacy and security of guests; follow policies; ensure appearance is clean and professional; protect company assets; perform other duties as requested.
  • Guest Relations: Thank guests, address service needs, actively listen, anticipate needs, greet guests warmly, engage about stay and services, assist colleagues, support individuals with disabilities.
  • Working with Others: Develop positive relationships; support team goals; handle sensitive issues with tact; move objects weighing ≤10 pounds.
  • Quality/Physical Tasks: Adhere to QA standards; use computers/point of sale; stand/walk for long periods; read small print; perform other duties as assigned.

Candidate\'s Profile: Experience: Minimum 2 years with an international hotel chain; experience in site inspections and catering groups. Skills: selling skills, closing ability, tele sales, relationship management, basic contracts, upselling, Fidelio/Opera knowledge, negotiation, communication.
