What You’ll DoLeading AstraZeneca's pricing strategies and HTA submissions to align with global policies and local business priorities, coordinating market access support for product launches, and collaborating with various functions for pricing approvals and comprehensive submissions. You will align with market access initiatives to secure national access for key therapeutic areas, develop KPIs, refine strategies through regular reporting, and lead access-related discussions with national health stakeholders.
Typical Accountabilities- Lead AstraZeneca's pricing strategies to ensure alignment with global pricing policies, develop pricing plans, coordinate market access support for launches, collaborate with local and regional functions for pricing approvals, and support regular reviews of pricing and patient assistance programs for compliance and effectiveness.
- Lead and execute AstraZeneca's HTA submission plan in alignment with local business priorities, coordinate with various functions for pricing approval and implementation, ensure comprehensive HTA submissions, and manage post-submission requirements.
- Align with market access initiatives to secure national access for key therapeutic areas and products, develop and monitor KPIs, and prepare regular reports to refine strategies.
- Lead and coordinate access-related discussions with national health stakeholders like DOH and PhilHealth, work closely with various functions, and align national-level strategies with overall market access and commercial objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Public Health, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Extensive experience in pricing strategy within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven track record in health technology assessment (HTA) submissions and market access strategies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and market trends.
- Excellent leadership and project management skills to lead cross-functional teams.
- In-depth understanding of pharmaceutical pricing, health economics, and reimbursement landscapes.
