Join Western Union as Senior Manager, Business Development. Western Union powers your pursuit. Role Responsibilities Negotiates, closes, and manages strategic and tactical business partnerships. Owns the revenue of assigned clients/accounts and manages annual target settings, budgeting, forecasting, and identifying and developing partnership opportunities, negotiating, and closing deals. Directly accountable for the achievement of transactional goals and driving country revenue goals. Ensure the launch of new products and maintain and expand ecosystem partnerships and deliver exceptional customer experience. Strong analytical skills and data driven — builds, reviews and analyzes performance data and competitive data. Introduces new products and pricing proposals. Translates strategic directions into tactical initiatives, metrics, and deliverables to grow current and future business. Provide seamless support to the locations of Western Union Retail Services, including Western Union branches and subagent networks. Provide strategy support such as strategy formulation, business modelling, business casing, and comparative & competitive analysis. Analyze market trends and customer insights to support business strategies and decisions. Drive revenue growth by developing and implementing omnichannel sales, marketing and pricing strategies. Exceed business performance targets and be responsible for managing the budget, business development, service delivery, marketing, and external stakeholder management. Collaborate with internal teams (finance, strategy, operations, marketing and business leadership) to inform strategic investment decisions. Develop and maintain relationships (including C-suite level) with key stakeholders, including regulators, partners, and customers. Exhibit strong program and project management skills. Control sales and marketing expenses within the region and be directly accountable for the achievement of transactional and revenue goals. Identify and prioritize service quality issues with all levels of the field team. Role Requirements At least 7–10 years of sales and business development experience in Remittance, Retail, Banking or Fintech industries. Experience in direct-to-consumer payments across retail and digital channels is highly desirable. Detailed understanding of the Philippines market, consumer trends, and remittance business overall. Strong leadership with outstanding influencing and negotiation skills and experience with revenue management. High energy and a proactive attitude to drive the business and deliver results. Familiar with pricing strategies, able to influence decisions, and proficient in negotiation with an understanding of the digital business.
