Position Overview
The Head of Recruitment will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our recruitment andtalent acquisition strategies. This role requires a hands-on leader who can build and managesourcing pipelines, mentor junior recruiters, and partner with leadership to ensure we attract,hire, and retain top talent. You'll be responsible for overseeing the full recruitment lifecycle,improving candidate experience, optimizing hiring systems, and supporting engagement throughvirtual and in-person recruitment-related events.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment, Sourcing & Pipeline Management
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies across multiple channels (LinkedIn, job boards,referrals, etc.)
- Build and manage strong candidate pipelines for current and future hiring needs
- Conduct targeted outreach and independent candidate searches for specialized roles
- Manage full-cycle recruitment: screening, interviewing, reference checks, offer letters,and onboarding
- Maintain and analyze metrics on sourcing effectiveness, time-to-fill, and recruitmentfunnels
- Partner closely with hiring managers to forecast needs and align on recruitment priorities
- Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead, mentor, and supervise junior recruiters and remote HR support staff
- Implement structured hiring processes, tools, and evaluation methods
- Oversee onboarding processes to ensure new hires are well-integrated into the team
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support long-term talent planning and staffinggoals
- Candidate Engagement & Event Planning
- Plan and execute virtual hiring events and job fairs to attract a diverse talent pool
- Organize in-person recruitment and engagement events to strengthen candidate connections and support employer branding
- Promote a positive candidate experience throughout every stage of the hiring process
Qualifications
Qualifications & Requirements
Eligibility
● Willingness to work U.S. Pacific Time hours
● Minimum of 45 hours per week
● Reliable high-speed internet and phone connectivity
Experience
● At least 7 years of recruitment and HR coordination experience
● Proven success in sourcing and pipeline management for both volume and strategic hiring
● Demonstrated ability to lead hiring initiatives and manage recruiting teams
● Preferred: Experience in the education or consulting sectors
Education
● Bachelor's degree from a reputable 4-year college or university
Skills & Competencies
● Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
● Strong analytical, organizational, and project management abilities
● Detail-oriented, process-driven, and highly self-motivated
● Professional, approachable, and comfortable working independently in a fast-pacedenvironment
● Proficiency in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and collaboration tools
